2020 RAM 1500 Big Horn Quad Cab Power & Handling
There are some impressive engine options are available for the RAM 1500 Big Horn Quad Cab. Standard across the Ram 1500 lineup is the 3.6L Pentastar V6 engine with eTorque. It makes use of advanced technologies like wide-range variable valve timing. As a result, the Pentastar holds claim to “Best-in-Class” standard V6 horsepower. The renowned 5.7L HEMI V8 engine is available as an option on the Big Horn. It’s available with the eTorque system, which results in a V8 gas towing capacity of up to 12,750 pounds with Best-in-Class available V8 combined 4×4 fuel economy. Last, but not least, is the all-new diesel engine, which gets you 480 lb-ft of diesel torque and a diesel towing capacity of 12,560 pounds.
2020 Chevy Silverado LT Double Cab Power & Handling
The Chevrolet LT Double Cab only comes standard with a 2.7L Turbo that is paired to an 8-speed automatic transmission. It puts out 310 horsepower and 348 lb.-ft. of torque. There are two optional engines for the LT model, a V8 and a diesel. The 5.3L EcoTec3 V8 with Dynamic Fuel Management also uses an 8-speed automatic transmission and offers 355 horsepower and 383 lb.-ft. of torque. Chevy’s DURAMAX 3.0L Turbo-diesel L I-6 is mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission. It gives drivers a 277 horsepower and 460 lb.-ft. of torque and 9,300-lb. maximum towing capability.
2020 RAM 1500 Big Horn Quad Cab Features & Design
There are a lot of features and option packages that are available for the RAM 1500 Big Horn. Starting things off are the sharp-looking chrome accents which align the exterior of the vehicle. There are also creature comforts such as premium cloth seating and a Uconnect system with a best-in-class 12-inch touchscreen. Meanwhile, the inside of the cabin has additional flourishes, such as four different color combinations and a power driver’s seat. Optional is a Sport package that includes body-colored front and rear bumpers, cloth and vinyl bucket seats. Also standard are 20-inch chrome and painted wheels, a class-exclusive in-floor storage compartments, and a four-inch drop hitch. Finally, bold chrome outlines provide a distinctive styling to the front and rear bumpers, grille, and door handles.
2020 Chevy Silverado LT Double Cab Features & Design
With the Chevrolet LT Double Cab comes a classic styling and a few interesting features. Coming standard are chrome bumpers, a center grille bar, and mirror caps that add body-colored door handles and 17-inch bright-silver aluminum wheels. Most styling can be found with the LED headlamps and daytime running lamps, which both come standard. These features add to an already extensive list that includes air conditioning, a 7-inch touchscreen, Bluetooth, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto. Also included are safety features such as adaptive cruise control, forward-collision warning, and forward pedestrian warning with active braking. These are some excellent features to be sure, but it pales in comparison to what the RAM Big Horn offers.
While we love both of these pickups, we are going to have to give the victory to the 2020 RAM Big Horn!
